Fishing Season
Wild Atlantic Salmon:
15th. January through 30th September
Brown trout: 15th. March through 6th. October
Northern Pike: No closed season for Fly Fishing pike

SIX HOUR PRIVATE WILD TROUT FISHING EXCURSION
No previous experience required. Includes a full time fly fishing guide/coach, introduction to equipment, plenty of fishing time, permit/s, access, fishing tackle, flies, wellie boots and Land Rover transport to and from fishing locations.
Private lesson for one £155.00 GBP + Subsidy of £30.00GBP
Party of two £200.00 + Subsidy of £30.00GBP

Party of three £265.00 - Party of four £300..00

Party of five £340.00 - Party of six £380.00.
Additional time by arrangement at £35.00GBP per hour

 
SIX HOUR FAMILY PRIVATE TROUT FISHING EXCURSION
Up to four participants, minimum age eight, two adults (OVER 16 YEARS) maximum. Instruction, fishing tackle and permits included: £275.00GBP
Children MUST be at least eight years of age.
 
FOUR HOUR PRIVATE COACHING EXCURSION (EVENINGS)
Includes casting/watercraft coaching, all fishing tackle and flies,
fishing permit/s and wellie boots. Does not cover Learn to Fly Fish course syllabus.

PRIVATE WILD ATLANTIC SALMON FISHING EXCURSIONS

Wild Atlantic Salmon fishing private day excursions are £245.00GBP for one rod fishing with an additional £50.00GBP for each additional rod joining the fishing party.

Private Learn Fly Fishing and guided excursions for Wild Atlantic Salmon (up to eight hours) are as with our private wild brown trout excursions totally inclusive of a full time guide/coach, all fishing tackle (Bruce & Walker hand built Spey Rods), permits, access, and Land Rover transport to and from the fishing location of the day from accommodations in the area of Roy Bridge and Spean Bridge villages.

 

Pre-reservation is essential for all excursions


HOTEL PICKUP AND RETURN BY ARRANGEMENT

Syllabus, included but not limited to:
Considerations of safety, the law and conservation.
Introduction to fly fishing tackle - rod - line - reel - flies
Casting - delivery and presentation of the fly
Explanation, Intro/demo of theory and practice of casting a fly
Casting practice and coaching for prevailing conditions
Improving casting distance and presentation. The choice of flies, size, pattern, when and where to use them - knots - cast/leader making. Trout habitat, ecology, entomology - where and when to fish.

Which rod & tackle! Considerations of equipment purchase

Participant check list:
A hearty packed lunch - drinking water - camera - Wet weather protective clothing
Change of socks/stockings and additional warm sweater - Hat/cap with a broad peak, Polaroid sunglasses, sun screen & lip balm

EXTENDED GUIDED EXPEDITIONS
Short break and extended guided private excursions for novice or experienced fishers. Wild brown trout and Atlantic Salmon fishing throughout the Highlands and Islands. Inclusive of all fishing tackle and coaching. Customized to preference of Hotel,
B&B, camping, bunkhouse or s/catering.
