Our Highland Home - Where to Find Us

The details below will assist you to find our locations on any good sized map of Scotland.

  • Edinburgh by the A9 & Glasgow by the A82 airports are 135 miles south of Spean Bridge. Inverness airport is 77 miles north of Spean Bridge.
  • There are main line rail services from Edinburgh and Glasgow to Spean Bridge continuing on to Fort William and Mallaig on the west coast.
  • The overnight sleeper train leaves Euston –Station London in the evening and you will be in Spean Bridge at 09:27 and fishing by 10:30 – that’s a promise.
  • Spean Bridge is a village located nine miles north of Fort William which is 125 miles north of Glasgow on the A82 main hiway from Glasgow to Inverness.
  • The A86 is a trunk which runs from the A889 Dalwhinnie exit on the A9 Edinburgh to Inverness road and runs the length of Glen Spean to junction in the village of Spean Bridge.
  • Fishing Scotland uses a selection of lochs and rivers in the area from Fort William north to Fort Augustus and from Ardverikie Estate and Loch Laggan in the east (off the A86) to Loch Arkaig in the West. That is 1225 square miles with a great many fine fishing waters. Most wild brown trout fishing is in lochs with wild Atlantic Salmon mainly fished for in rivers.
  • The villages and surrounding area has a some great accommodation available including hotel. Guest house, B & B, camping and caravan parks and self catering accommodation.
