To Cast a Fly

Good fly casting is not a natural ability, but the result of practice in
practical procedures and understanding simple theory, so producing predictable performance. Knowledge and understanding is the only path to ability - let
FISHING SCOTLAND guide you.

Ideally, two or three sessions are required to progress and improve, just as with skiing, windsurfing, and other sports skills. Alternatively, a six hour instructional excursion will provide a firm foundation in the pleasures of fly casting, a true catch for life. So come, learn to cast a fly for wild brown trout in the heart of the Highlands. Dependant on the location and weather, a non fishing companion
is most welcome to accompany fishing clients.
