Blackpark is an ideal base to tour the Highlands and enjoy
some of the best hill and forest walks in the country as well
as the fine beaches of Nairn and Findhorn Bay. Fishing permits
are readily available for the Rivers Ness, Nairn and Findhorn
to fish wild Atlantic Salmon or wild brown trout in Loch a’
Chaorainn, Loch Killin, Ruthven, Knockie and another dozen
lochs strewn from Daviot the length of Strathnairn to Whitebridge
and all are within 15 miles of Blackpark.
Fishing Scotland
is a Fishing School that provides Learn to Fly Fish excursions
for trout and salmon and guided excursions for experianced
anglers. There is of course excellent sea fishing from the
shore the length of the Moray Firth which you can see from
the house and cottage.
and are located 1 mile from the famous Culloden battlefield.
They offer panoramic views over the City of Inverness, the
Moray Firth and the hills beyond. They are ideally situated
in a secluded country location on a working farm.
Inverness is only 4 miles away and offers you all the major
retail outlets as well as a wide range of restaurants. In
addition there is a Retail Park close by with a 24 hour supermarket,
Warner Village Cinema and fast food restaurants.
Both types of accommodation are fully equipped with many
added extras to make your holiday special. This includes oil
fired or under floor heating and an open fire to relax in
front of. If you wish you could leave work in the City (London)
at 5pm on a Friday night and be having a "dram"
in Culloden by 10.30pm!
