Fly Fishing at Inverawe Fisheries

Inverawe Fisheries is a superb fly fishing centre with four lochs catering for the beginner to expert dry-fly angler. The Lochs are stocked daily with 2-3lb Rainbow Trout and intermittently with large Jumbos as well as 2lb Brown Trout.

 

The fisheries also have a mile and a half of Salmon and Sea Trout fishing on the River Awe. There are two beats, called Lorn and Inverawe - Lorn, the lower beat, has fishing on opposing banks.The whole Fisheries is Fly only.

To help the complete beginner the Fisheries have an Angling School and can provide Tackle.Just appear and we will give you a fun day to learn the pleasure of the art of fly fishing.


    Inverawe Smokehouses    
 


Visit the smokery see how the salmon is smoked. Enjoy the exhibition with its complete pictorial view of the smoking process. Marvel over the moving model. Watch the process through the viewing windows. The exhibition is for all ages and great fun. Open 7 days a week, Adults 50p, kids free. (Best to visit during normal working hours)

 
    Gourmet Food Shop & Tearoom
 


Our gourmet shop, with a complete range of Inverawe smoked goodies, the very best of other connoisseur Scottish products as well as cookery books, cooking gadgets and smokers, will give hours of pleasure. The tearoom, with its panoramic view of Glen Lonan is a superb place to test the saying "the proof of the pudding is in the eating".

 
    Country Park
 


Enjoy the freedom of walking where you will. Through the woods, parkland, down by the river, and along Loch Etive side. There is wildlife everywhere. The children can have fun feeding the fish in the stock pond, following the Nature Trail, finding all the hide-aways and in our playground. Ideal for picnics, bring your own barbeques or simply relaxing the Inverawe Estate is there to be discovered.
